Today is my Father-in-law's birthday. So we will be hanging out there today.
This weeks starts a shift change at work. I will be working more at night. Not the first choice I would make, but hey, I still have a job, and for that I am thankful.
I have to share with you something amazing that happened to us a few weeks ago. Shanon and I have been talking and praying about us buying our first home. Shanon finally called a mortgage worker in Florida. She was very nice, and went over our credit, highlighted a bunch of things that we needed to take care of. (I wish I wasn't such a dumb kid.)
Its hard facing things like this. Especially when your income really is just getting you by at the moment. Anyway, we both were kind of down, because we knew that coming up with the money to pay off all that old debt was going to take forever.
So we started to pray. We just kinda said, God, we feel you calling us back to Florida. We know that for sure. If we have to rent for a few more years, so be it.
A few days later, we got a letter from the State of Michigan, saying that there had been a big mistake concerning Jaylen's benefits. The letter also went on to say that they were sending us a check for the monthly mistake that had been happening since June of 2006!
That's when we saw the amount. It was literally $45 more than the entire sum of debt that we needed to pay off. Wow.
When God guides, he provides.
We can hardly wait to go back home to Florida. We can hardly wait to see all of our friends again. We can hardly wait to be homeowners! That still even sounds weird! LOL
Hope everyone has a great week!

P.S. Remember the Dummy you almost threw out in the Church Dumpster? We still have him! We named him "Fred-in-the-shed"-because he stays in our Shed, to scare off Burglars.
WOW! I forgot about that! that thing used to always make me jump when I had to go back behind the baptismal for something.
